Join us as we unveil the planned route for an epic 1700 km bike-packing adventure across Germany, cycling from the northernmost point in List, Sylt, to the southernmost point in Oberstdorf! This video takes you through the planned route with maps, key highlights, and the incredible landscapes and cities we’ll explore along the way. Designed to be completed in 12 days with 4 buffer days for flexibility, this adventure combines physical challenge, breathtaking nature, and cultural exploration.

The pace of this trip is flexible and depends on the difficulty of each section, the terrain, and the riders’ conditions. On average, we aim to cover approximately 120–150 km per day over 12 riding days.

I’ve never done long-distance bike tours before, but as an outdoor enthusiast since childhood and with over six years of professional experience in the adventure industry, I’m confident I can make this one happen.

Please ensure you’re prepared with proper bike packing equipment and are comfortable riding long distances. Personal expenses, food, and camping fees are not included, and it’s important to be self-sufficient in case of bike repairs or emergencies.

  • Central Germany: Mild (~15-18°C).
  • Southern Germany: Cooler in the Alps (~5-10°C at higher altitudes).
    Pack layers and waterproof gear, as April weather can be unpredictable.
